Acient Citadel Tour We'll look beyond the pyramids and pharoahs, and discover the Citadel of Salah el Din, Sultan Hassan and Khan One of Cairo's most popular tourist attractions is the Citadel, located on a spur of limestone that had been detached from its parent Moqattam Hills by quarrying. The Citadel is one of the world's greatest monuments to medieval warfare, as well as a highly visible landmark on Cairo's eastern skyline. This tour will reveal Citadel's very medieval character.

Fortress of Babylon We will explore the highlights of the old Fortress of Babylon, built at the time of the Roman occupation of Egypt. The walls of the fortress enclose the Church of St. Sergius, which dates back to the 5th Century and was built over 2000 years ago. We will also visit the famous Hanging Church, so-called as it is supported on two ancient columns.

Absolutely no visit to Cairo would be complete without taking an unforgettable stroll around the Giza plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Giza. The only present-day survivors of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. By standing at the very foot of the pyramids or Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Mycerinus) we will appreciate the skill and determination of the Ancient Egyptians who built them 4500 years ago. We will then venture inside one of these fabulous monuments and explore the mysteries of its ancient past for ourselves.
